ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ali Muhammad was born and raised in Highland Park, Michigan as the youngest of three siblings. Spending most his time as a student in the Highland Park Public School District, Muhammad finished high school at W.E.B. DuBois Preparatory Academy on Detroit’s Northwest side.
After earning his high school diploma in 2005, Muhammad attended Wayne County Community College during a brief living stint in Detroit’s Brightmoor neighborhood. Two years later he transferred to Western Michigan University where he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
With a Bachelor’s of Science in Professional Education degree in hand, Muhammad accepted a teaching position in one of West Michigan’s Title I public schools in 2013. His primary focus is unlocking the leadership potential in all of tomorrow’s leaders, today.
